The two sides agreed, petrochemical and chemical industry is one of the important industry to support the national economic and social development, is also a large carbon emissions, one of the industries with higher intensity, so must strengthen the energy conservation and carbon reduction work, continuously improve the level of industrial energy efficiency, reduce carbon dioxide emissions, to achieve carbon peak make more contribution to carbon neutral.
The two sides made it clear that the next step is to carry out practical cooperation in petrochemical and chemical fields in the form of framework cooperation and specific agreements. One is to carry out relevant research on carbon peak carbon neutralization. Focusing on the basic work that urgently needs to be solved, such as the measurement of carbon emissions and the definition of the accounting scope, to carry out relevant research topics; The second is to collaborate on improving energy efficiency in the industry. Relying on brand activities such as energy conservation and efficiency enhancement, green carbon reduction service action and typical cases of energy efficiency leaders of both parties, the promotion of typical cases and supply and demand matching services of energy conservation and carbon reduction technologies shall be carried out. Third, strengthen the construction of industry energy management team. Give full play to their respective advantages in the training of carbon emission managers and energy management positions to realize complementary advantages. The two sides will make active efforts to do well in relevant cooperation matters and jointly promote the development of energy conservation, efficiency enhancement and green carbon reduction.
